Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate a complex technical domain.
• Hands on experience with DB2 and Cobol.
• Experience maintaining and supporting business critical or mainframe based platforms, including incident resolution; effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders, including developers, support teams and business colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop new services in close collaboration with fellow developers on the team and beyond
• Maintain a highly complex platform and resolve incidents as they arise
• Ensure high quality in solutions through reviews and testing
• Identify and reduce technical debt to support continuous platform improvement
• Challenge existing ways of working and help optimise processes and methods
• Apply hands on knowledge of and experience with DB2 and Cobol
