Job summary
Cubris, a Hitachi Rail company based in Ballerup, Denmark, seeks a Senior Software Engineer who combines hands-on development with technical ownership. You will own delivery within a product area, translate requirements into tasks, and coordinate across engineers to ship robust software.
You should have substantial software engineering experience with strong C#/.NET, Docker, Azure DevOps, and modern CI/CD practices.
Qualifications
- Substantial software engineering experience with a track record of taking software from requirements into production.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to own delivery end-to-end.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and guiding other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and ship production-grade software
- Translate requirements into clear technical tasks and solutions
- Take ownership of technical execution within a product area
- Coordinate development across multiple engineers when required
- Identify dependencies, blockers and risks before they affect delivery
- Challenge unclear requirements constructively
- Participate in design discussions and technical reviews
- Design and document architecture at component level
- Develop and maintain release pipelines
- Work closely with Product and Quality Engineering
- Coach colleagues through technical sparring and code reviews
- Improve code quality, testability and delivery practices
