Job Description
Just imagine concept designers moving from idea to visualization with less friction because of tools you've built. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Senior Software Engineer (C#/Typescript/AWS), you'll focus on accelerating how LEGO designers work by embedding AI into their visualization workflow. You'll design and build tools that are genuinely useful, balancing the possibilities of AI image generation with the practical needs of the people using them. This is an opportunity to bridge creative and technical worlds, helping shape products that support designers in their everyday work while building a strong engineering foundation for the future.

What you'll build
If you've worked in a role where you shipped full stack features to production, integrated external APIs, and helped turn unclear ideas into working products, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine strong engineering fundamentals with practical product thinking and a clear focus on user needs.
Life on the team
You'll join the LEGO Designer Technology team, where engineering and creative practice come together to build AI-powered tools for concept designers. We work closely with designers and product managers, creating a short feedback loop between what we build and how it's used. Our team keeps things simple, with daily stand-ups and regular demo sessions to stay connected. We value people who take ownership, work independently on complex problems, communicate clearly, and bring ideas forward while supporting one another. You'll gain hands‑on experience with applied AI in an environment that values craft, thoughtful decision-making, and learning together.
What success looks like
Success means becoming a trusted partner to the design community while helping translate creative needs into practical software solutions. You'll master the challenge of connecting AI technology with real‑world design workflows and help shape the direction of products in an exploratory environment. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll work closely with engineers, a product manager, and designers to influence what gets built and where the team's work goes next.
