As our Staff Engineer – Engineering Experience (DX), you'll drive technical direction across a portfolio of engineering capabilities spanning Developer Platform, Developer Relations, Developer Ecosystem, Enterprise Transparency, and agentic software development. Working across the LEGO® Group, you'll translate strategic direction into practical execution, helping teams align architecture, adopt common platforms, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering effectiveness at scale. You'll provide technical leadership beyond a single product while staying closely connected to delivery and real-world engineering challenges.
If you've worked in a role where you shaped platform strategy, influenced architecture across multiple teams, and drove adoption of shared engineering capabilities, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to connect long-term direction with practical outcomes and create alignment across a broad technology landscape.
You’ll join DX & Cloud Foundation within Digital Platforms & Infrastructure. We’re here to provide platforms, tooling, standards, and technical foundations that help product teams build, operate, and innovate effectively at scale. We work in a hybrid rhythm across multiple locations, staying connected through technical communities, architecture discussions, planning forums, and leadership engagement. You’ll have opportunities to support organizational change, coach engineers, and help grow technical capability through mentoring and collaboration.
Success means becoming a trusted partner to Principal Engineers, Lead Engineers, Engineering Directors, and product teams. You’ll help reduce architectural fragmentation, create clear technical roadmaps, and strengthen alignment across capabilities. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you’ll contribute to expanding developer experience capabilities, advancing GenAI enablement, improving workflow automation, standardizing engineering practices, and increasing platform adoption across the organization.
