EVEREC in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Site Acquisition Manager to grow our Danish EV charging network in a hybrid role. You will lead site searches, secure strategic locations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to move projects from first talks to delivery.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in site acquisition, property development or similar.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and legal considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Denmark and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with landowners, developers, retailers, local authorities and other commercial partners.
• Find, assess, negotiate and secure suitable sites across Denmark.
• Create and deliver a network growth plan, setting priorities and adapting your approach to each location and stakeholder.
• Work with design, planning, construction, legal and operations to move projects from agreement to operational charging station.
• Partner with the Country Lead for Denmark to develop creative deal structures and unlock difficult sites.
• Collaborate with an international team to improve planning and delivery of expansion.
• Build expertise in electric mobility and charging infrastructure to lead informed negotiations.

Help build the next generation of EV charging

We’re looking for an experienced site acquisition professional to grow our charging network across Denmark. You’ll identify and secure high-potential locations, helping us make convenient, dependable ultra-fast charging available to more drivers.

Our stations are designed for quick, easy stops, with high-power charging and a drive-through layout. In this role, you’ll help expand a network built around a reliable customer experience and support the wider shift to electric mobility.

The role

Based in Copenhagen, you’ll join a diverse team working across Europe. You’ll lead the search for prominent, accessible sites in high-traffic areas and guide opportunities from first conversation through to signed agreement and delivery.

What you’ll do

• Build partnerships with landowners, developers, retailers, local authorities and other commercial partners.
• Find, assess, negotiate and secure suitable sites across Denmark.
• Create and deliver a network growth plan, setting priorities and adapting your approach to each location and stakeholder.
• Work with colleagues in design, planning, construction, legal and operations to move projects from agreement to operational charging station.
• Partner with the Country Lead for Denmark to develop creative deal structures and unlock sites that may be difficult to secure.
• Work with an international team to improve how we plan and deliver expansion.
• Build your expertise in electric mobility and charging infrastructure, using it to lead informed, confident negotiations.

What you’ll bring

• At least five years of relevant experience in site acquisition, property development or a comparable role, ideally in a related sector.
• A strong understanding of commercial contracts and planning and legal considerations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with teams such as legal and architecture.
• Commercial judgement, a sales-oriented approach and a focus on results.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with both public bodies and private landowners.
• Native-level Danish and fluent business English.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within Denmark, with occasional trips elsewhere in Europe.
• Curiosity, adaptability and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
• A strong interest in accelerating the energy transition.

Useful additional experience

• Established relationships with Danish stakeholders in real estate, development, energy, infrastructure, transport or e-mobility.
• Experience in a fast-growing business or the renewable energy sector.
