Job summary

Enemix is seeking a senior Technical Project Manager for Denmark to own grid connections and construction delivery as the network scales across Europe. You will coordinate multiple station projects, work with engineering partners and contractors, and build relationships with grid operators and municipalities.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in construction, infrastructure deployment or technical project management.
• A technical background, read technical plans and drawings with confidence.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Grid connection experience in Denmark is a strong plus, but can be learned.
• Candidates from construction, infrastructure, utilities and adjacent technical fields are also interesting.
• Confident decision-maker, pragmatic and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel within Denmark and occasionally abroad.

Responsibilities

• Secure grid connections for new charging stations, from application through to realisation, working directly with Danish grid operators
• Plan and coordinate construction across several station projects at once, managing schedules, budgets and material supply
• Work with engineering partners and contractors to deliver high-quality stations safely and on time
• Build relationships with grid operators, municipalities and local partners
• Support the network development team with site evaluations and due diligence
• Keep stakeholders in Denmark and across Europe informed through clear, regular reporting

Job description

Our client is one of Europe’s fastest-growing EV fast-charging operators, building a Europe-wide network of fast-charging stations that supply drivers with energy from the sun and wind. They have more than 500 people across Europe, from over 40 nationalities, and a clear target of 1,000 stations.

Denmark is one of their key growth markets. They currently have 7 stations live and a plan to grow to more than 50. The local team is small and close-knit, with three permanent staff and an interim construction project manager, supported by an international construction management function across the business.

They are adding a more senior Technical Project Manager to the Danish team: someone who can own grid connections and construction delivery from day one, and grow with the market as the network scales.

What you’ll do

What we’re looking for

• 4 to 7 years of experience in construction, infrastructure deployment or technical project management
• A technical background, through an engineering degree or equivalent practical experience. You can read technical plans and drawings with confidence
• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
• Grid connection experience in Denmark is a strong plus, but can be learned
• No EV or renewables background required. Candidates from construction, infrastructure, utilities and adjacent technical fields are also interesting
• Confident making decisions independently, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel within Denmark and occasionally abroad

• Base salary: DKK 600,000 to 650,000, dependent on experience
