Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Senior Service Engineer in the Renewable division to lead MV & HV service projects offshore. You will manage technical scope from tendering through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The role includes hands-on offshore work, site testing, and planning work packages. Based at our Esbjerg HQ, travel up to 90 days/year is expected as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or similar qualification in electrical systems.
• Broad know-how of MV and HV systems and technologies from the offshore wind industry.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems.
• Proven track record servicing protection systems for LV and HV.
• Willingness to travel and perform hands-on onsite work.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.

As our new Senior Service Engineer in the Renewable division, you will be a valuable member of the Medium and High Voltage Service team, whose mission is to execute medium- and high-voltage service projects across disciplines for offshore assets, e.g. OSS, rigs, and WTGs. You will have the chance to drive all aspects of the project process, from initial client inquiries to final execution. As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing MV & HV Service projects from a technical perspective in collaboration with cross‑functional teams, external partners, and customers. Moreover, you will apply your expertise hands‑on by using your specialist knowledge to execute the service. You will be responsible from the initiation and tendering of the project through to delivering a solution and finally executing it offshore. This will involve collaborating with various teams across the organisation and externally.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• You will have end‑to‑end technical responsibility for specific projects in the MV & HV Service team, from tendering, clarification, and planning to execution.
• Provide technical assistance and calculations to support projects across the organisation.
• Perform hands‑on offshore special technical testing and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and plan work packages for execution, both on‑ and offshore.

• Broad knowledge of electrical systems: high, medium, and low voltage.
• Desire and willingness to travel and perform hands‑on onsite work.
