What you’ll doAs our new Senior Scientist, you will play a key role you will play a key role in driving process development to secure optimal pharmaceutical characteristics and product stability. You will take scientific ownership across one or more oral drug product projects and strengthen knowledge sharing across the portfolio. Your impact and responsibilities: • Set the scientific direction for designing, interpreting and reporting development studies.• Be responsible for developing and transferring processes suitable for GMP production for clinical studies (phase I, II and III)• Combine your process and drug product understanding to make conclusions about the next step in the drug product projects.• Own end‐to‐end process by defining documentation strategies for internal and external purposes.• Collaborate widely with internal stakeholders, including Global Research, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Analytical Development. • Strengthen knowledge sharing by working closely with scientists, lab technicians and specialists to plan and execute studies on drug products. You will be expected to set a clear scientific direction, identify opportunities, and inspire colleagues to move projects forward. What you’ll bringTo succeed in this role, you hold a Master’s degree or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or another relevant natural science discipline. You also bring: • At least 3 years of experience in CMC, R&D, or drug product development across phases I–III.• Experience with powder technology, tablet formulation, tablet manufacturing, and/or finished drug products.• Familiarity with phase-appropriate quality expectations and documentation.• An innovative, proactive, and engaging mindset that helps move projects forward.• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.• Fluency in written and spoken English. On a personal level, you combine collaboration with the confidence to lead your own area of responsibility. You adapt well in a dynamic environment and can communicate complex scientific topics clearly to colleagues and stakeholders with different backgrounds, building support for your ideas and recommendations. Who you’ll work withCMC Development turns promising molecules into approved products in close collaboration with colleagues across Research & Development and Global Manufacturing & Supply. In CMC Drug Product Development, we develop formulations and manufacturing processes for oral and injectable biopharmaceutical products. We are approximately 200 employees organised across eleven teams in Måløv. Our projects span early development in phases I–II through late-stage development and process validation in phase III. What we offerSalary: The annual base salary for this role ranges from DKK 651,000 to DKK 956 , 900 , depending on the level of the position.
