Job summary

Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation at Rigshospitalet (CAMES-RH) invites applications for a permanent, part-time Senior Researcher position (40%, two days per week) starting 1 November 2026. The role spans clinical translation to robotic endoscopy and education across Region East.

The successful candidate will lead research and innovation activities within the EU-funded IRE project, publish widely, and contribute to external funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Engineering (MSc Eng) or an equivalent qualification.
• A PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience in leading and completing high-quality research and innovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the research, innovation and education environment at CAMES and across Region East.
• Develop and support innovation and research projects that connect clinical needs with engineering expertise at DTU.
• Publish high-quality research in peer‑reviewed journals with local, national and international partners.
• Disseminate research findings through senior editorial responsibilities, keynote presentations, and participation in international standards development.
• Help to secure competitive external funding to support your research.
