Job summary

TotalEnergies in Denmark seeks a Senior Regulatory Affairs specialist to shape governance for offshore activities, partnering with authorities, internal teams, and contractors to translate complex regulations into practical solutions.

Based in Esbjerg, you will build governance frameworks, risk models, and digital tools, ensuring ALARP alignment and continuous improvement while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, public affairs, legal or related discipline.
• Understanding of Danish regulatory frameworks and complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate requirements into practical business solutions.
• Experience balancing regulatory requirements with commercial, contractual, and operational objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Represent TotalEnergies EP Danmark's interests in dialogue with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Interface between internal functions (Field Operations, Projects, HSE, Technical Services, Commercial, Legal) and external parties.
• Drive permitting, license handling, extensions, and information requests.
• Monitor legislation and regulatory changes; translate into actionable guidance.
• Develop governance processes, registers, QA/QC frameworks, and risk models; implement digital tools.
• Support regulatory governance across joint ventures, infrastructure owners, and partners.
• Provide regulatory advisory support to operations ensuring alignment with ALARP and management systems.
• Promote regulatory excellence, safety culture, and continuous improvement.
