Job summary

Jobtailor in Copenhagen is seeking a Performance Engineer to investigate CPU, GPU, memory, and runtime issues across Unity-based workloads and platforms. You will design and develop Adaptive Performance features that improve runtime stability, efficiency, and developer insights.

You will profile applications and engine workloads to identify bottlenecks, turning data into actionable solutions. Collaboration with Unity teams, hardware partners, OEMs, and customers, plus mentoring and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and C++, with experience in large codebases.
• Strong understanding of CPU, GPU, memory, threading, and runtime performance.
• Hands-on experience with profiling and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to own complex technical problems and communicate findings.
• Experience mentoring others and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Investigate performance issues across Unity and supported platforms.
• Design and build Adaptive Performance features to improve stability and efficiency.
• Profile applications and workloads to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with Unity teams, platform holders, hardware partners, OEMs, and customers.
• Contribute to technical design, testing, code reviews, and AI-assisted optimization workflows.
