Job summary

SKJOLDET is seeking a Senior Software Developer to own architecture decisions and drive real-time fraud processing systems. You’ll work with the CTO and founders to shape product direction and scale our backend stack.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, ideally MongoDB.
Experience designing high-performance, production-grade systems.
Comfortable working across the full stack backend-heavy, with frontend awareness.
Interest in AI/ML and how it applies to detection and prevention problems.
Eager to grow and motivated by building technology that disrupts an industry.
Experience from fintech, finance or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance, scalable backend systems for real-time fraud detection.
Contribute to the architecture of Denmark's most ambitious fraud intelligence database.
Collaborate with fraud analysts and data scientists to turn signals into actionable prevention.
Own code quality, performance, and reliability across the stack.
