Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics Denmark is seeking a Senior Specialist – Quantum Laser Systems to lead development and testing of advanced laser systems for quantum applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary Koheras engineering team to translate customer needs into manufacturable fiber laser solutions.

The role involves project leadership across disciplines, maintaining production readiness, and close collaboration with sales and manufacturing to meet ambitious roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in science or engineering, preferably within a photonics field.
• PhD level education preferred for advanced roles.
• Multiple years of experience in photonics-based quantum computing or sensing applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, assembly and testing of custom laser system products and prototypes.
• Collaborate with sales, support, purchasing and manufacturing to transfer designs to production.
• Deliver robust, manufacturable solutions from requirements capture to deployment.
