Job summary

RDT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive and coordinate improvement and implementation projects across manufacturing operations for a global wind turbine manufacturer in renewable energy. • Drive and coordinate the pre-project and planning phase of projects across manufacturing operations.
• Establish pre-project teams across the full value chain (R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital Solutions).
• Define project scope and overall approach for execution.
• Build and lead the project organisation during execution with detailed timelines, resource plans, and cost plans.
• Prepare project briefs and mandate meetings, and conduct status and SteerCo meetings.
• Manage stakeholders across R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital Solutions and executive management.
• Run several parallel projects within manufacturing operations improvement (shopfloor management, manufacturing concepts, logistics automation, non-conformance handling, and engineering change management).

Project Manager, Manufacturing Operations (Renewable Energy / Wind Turbine Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive and coordinate improvement and implementation projects across manufacturing operations for a global player in the wind turbine manufacturing industry.

You will take ownership of the pre-project and planning phase across multiple parallel initiatives, establishing cross-functional pre-project teams that span the full value chain (R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Digital Solutions). You will define project scope and overall approach, build the project organisation for execution, and develop detailed timelines, resource plans, and cost plans.

You will prepare project briefs and mandate meetings, and take responsibility for preparing and conducting status meetings and SteerCo meetings, including general stakeholder management with exposure to executive management level.

The role involves running a number of parallel projects, including:

• Automated logistic systems implementation
• Improved Non-Conformance process
• Improved Engineering Change Management process
