Job summary

Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (MS) seeks a Senior Programme Manager to lead and develop our Syria and Lebanon engagement, overseeing Danida-funded country programmes with a focus on quality, strategy and resource mobilisation.

You will coordinate across MS and ActionAid to turn context and partnerships into impactful programmes and new funding opportunities, including donor engagement and grant management. The role requires travel and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• At least six years’ experience in programme and project cycle management.
• Five years in a low- or middle-income country with NGO or similar setting.
• Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder programmes and partnerships.
• Strong grant and financial management including budgeting and reporting.
• Experience with institutional donors and high-quality proposals/reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme engagement and partner dialogue in Syria and Lebanon within the Danida-funded portfolio.
• Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, learning and adaptation with partners and ActionAid teams.
• Ensure sound grant and financial management, including budgets, risks, disbursements and donor reporting.
• Lead donor engagement, fundraising and development of new proposals.
• Translate regional developments into strategic advice with youth involvement.
• Represent MS in donor, policy and coordination forums and support advocacy and communications.
