Job summary

Danfoss A/S is seeking a Senior Professional, IT Client Engineer to secure and optimize our global endpoint environment. You will manage endpoint management systems, deploy software and security policies, and resolve complex end-user issues in a hybrid setup across Nordborg and Sofia.

Work with Security, Networking, Infrastructure, and Applications teams to deliver integrated solutions, drive automation, and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Client Engineering or similar role supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, MEM, SCCM, co-management, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS administration and endpoint security practices.
• Scripting and automation skills, preferably using PowerShell.
• ZTNA experience such as Appgate is a plus; Microsoft certifications welcome but not required.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability to travel internationally.

Our IT Infrastructure Department at Danfoss is looking for an experienced colleague – Senior Professional, IT Client Engineer.

You will play a crucial part in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our client/endpoint environment. This position, in alignment with the international team and service owners, involves managing our endpoint management systems, deploying software and security policies, resolving complex end-user technical issues, and optimizing the overall client architecture for performance and security. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in client engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of managing complex end-user computing environments

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive the performance, reliability, and scalability of our global Windows and macOS endpoint environment, ensuring employees have a secure and productive digital workplace.
• Strengthen our security posture by implementing and optimizing endpoint security solutions, compliance standards, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) technologies.
• Act as a senior technical expert for complex endpoint and device-related challenges, identifying root causes and delivering long-term solutions that improve user experience.
• Shape and evolve our global client architecture through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance performance and operational efficiency.
• Partner with colleagues across Security, Networking, Infrastructure, and Applications teams to deliver integrated solutions and maintain a high-quality end-user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in IT Client Engineering, Endpoint Management, or a similar role supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), SCCM, co-management, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS administration, endpoint security practices, and cloud identity solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Solid scripting and automation skills, preferably using PowerShell, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ZTNA solutions such as Appgate is considered an advantage. Relevant Microsoft certifications are welcome but not required.
• Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team, and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed.
