Job summary

Arla Foods invites applicants to join the Fermented High Protein Innovation team at our Innovation Centre in Aarhus. You will blend hands-on product development with process leadership to accelerate new high-protein dairy platforms such as Skyr, Quark and Greek yoghurt.

You will lead complex development programs, translate lab results into actionable business insights, and build knowledge to support future growth across Europe, collaborating with Innovation, Operations, Quality, Packaging,

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Food Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in product & process development within dairy or food manufacturing.
• Experience with fermented dairy products, high-protein products, fermentation, and large-scale manufacturing.
• Ability to influence across functions, sites and cultures.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product and process development projects from concept to launch.
• Act as a product and process expert for fermented high-protein platforms.
• Drive lab, pilot and industrial trials and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Identify and solve product quality, stability and process challenges.
• Develop technical playbooks, guidelines and best-practice ways of working.
• Establish structured approaches for experimentation and data interpretation.
• Contribute to future product and technology roadmaps.
• Support external manufacturing and supplier collaborations as needed.
