Job summary

Arla Foods Innovation Centre in Aarhus is seeking an inventive leader to advance fermented high-protein dairy products, combining hands-on product development with process leadership to accelerate innovation across Skyr, Quark and Greek yogurt.

You will drive complex development projects, translate scientific findings into business recommendations, and collaborate with Innovation, Operations, Quality, Packaging and Supply Chain to shape the future of high-protein platforms.

Qualifications

Degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology or Food Engineering.
Significant experience in product and process development within dairy or food manufacturing.
Experience with fermented dairy products and high-protein platforms.

Responsibilities

Leading complex product and process development projects from concept to launch.
Acting as a product and process expert across fermented high-protein product platforms including Skyr, Quark, yoghurt and emerging technologies.
Driving laboratory, pilot and industrial trials and translating technical findings into clear business recommendations.
Identifying and solving complex product quality, stability and process challenges.
Leading knowledge in process and product interactions within the team.
Developing technical playbooks, guidelines, troubleshooting tools and best‑practice ways of working.
Establishing structured approaches for experimentation, data interpretation and root‑cause analysis.
Contributing to future product and technology roadmaps within Fermented High Protein.
Supporting external manufacturing, supplier collaborations and Contract Manufacturing activities where specialist technical expertise is required.
