Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Cargo Event Monitoring team to shape how cargo movement is tracked and understood across its global network. You will own a domain from discovery through delivery and measurable outcomes.

Collaborating with engineers, SMEs, and business leaders, you will solve complex problems at scale to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance. The role is based in Copenhagen and requires on-site collaboration five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience owning and evolving products or domains within technology-driven organisations.
• Strong track record delivering outcomes via discovery, prioritisation, delivery and adoption.
• Experience with event-driven, visibility, tracking, monitoring, or operational tech products.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence across business and tech functions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand operational processes and root causes.
• Comfort with data-intensive products, integrations, APIs, and system architecture.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders, experts, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for your domain.
• Lead discovery activities to understand customer, operational, and business needs.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, data-driven products.
• Use data and insights to guide prioritisation, measure success, and inform decisions.
• Drive migration of capabilities from legacy systems into COMET with risk balance.
• Simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality and timeliness.
• Build partnerships across stakeholder landscape and influence decisions.
• Contribute to a collaborative product culture through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
