Job summary

DTU — Technical University of Denmark is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join a small engineering team focused on the core narrative engine platform. You will own delivery systems, creator tooling, and the infrastructure that keeps the platform reliable and scalable.

You will work on real-time AI-driven narratives, tools for creators, and the payments/subscriptions workflow, while collaborating with a hands-on CTO and CEO.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years hands-on senior product engineering experience.
• Autonomous work style with strong engineering discipline.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with designers and PMs.
• Experience shipping production-grade platforms with real-time requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the narrative engine platform and delivery systems.
• Build creator tooling to design characters, settings, and story elements.
• Develop payments, subscriptions, entitlements, and refunds workflows.
• Integrate and orchestrate slow or unreliable third-party APIs with retries and fallbacks.
• Oversee monitoring, deployment, tracing, and cost-aware operations.
• Establish CI/CD practices and a robust engineering foundation.
