Job summary
AquaGreen seeks a Senior Process Systems Engineer to analyse, understand, and optimise our integrated steam drying and pyrolysis plants. The role sits at the intersection of process design and plant operation, focusing on mass and energy balances, process dynamics, and safe, efficient operation.
You will translate technical understanding into clear control philosophies, support automation with functional design specifications, and work closely with mechanical, installation, and commissioning
Qualifications
- PhD/MSc/BSc in Chemical/Process/Mechanical Engineering with thermal focus.
- Experience in energy plants, process control, and industrial operation.
- Strong understanding of process dynamics and control across industrial systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of the integrated steam drying and pyrolysis plants and their control strategies.
- Lead process design alignment with automation as Process Lead.
- Analyse and optimise process dynamics for stability and performance.
- Translate process understanding into high-level control philosophies with the automation team.
- Document process control logic and functional descriptions for automation implementation.
- Identify bottlenecks and improvements in plant stability and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and service to translate analysis into site improvements.
