The Impact You'll Make

As our Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of variable speed drive solutions within our HVAC and Water Drives business. Working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will transform system architectures and design concepts into robust, energy-efficient, and reliable products used by customers worldwide.

Your expertise in power electronics will help solve complex technical challenges while supporting the global transition toward electrification and improved energy efficiency.

By combining technical depth with strong collaboration skills, you will contribute to products that deliver lasting value for our customers and help build a more sustainable future.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through validation and continuous improvement.

  • Design and develop power electronic solutions for next-generation variable speed drives, including simulation, prototyping, testing, and product validation.
  • Drive the development and optimization of converter topologies, power stages, magnetic components, switch mode power supplies (SMPS), thermal solutions, and EMC-compliant designs.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including advanced power semiconductor technologies, including wide band gap semiconductors such as Silicon Carbide (SiC), to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, mechanical engineering, supply chain, and procurement to deliver solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Support verification, reliability, and continuous improvement activities, including design reviews, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing within the engineering community.
  • Contribute to functional safety considerations and robust design practices in close collaboration with system, hardware, software, and validation teams.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for an engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

  • Master's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience developing power electronic solutions for drives, inverters, or similar applications.
  • Deep knowledge in one or more of these key power electronics areas: magnetics, SMPS, EMC, or functional safety.
  • Experience using simulation tools such as PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with reliability engineering, DFMEA, design verification, Design for Manufacturing principles, and wide band gap semiconductor technologies such as Silicon Carbide (SiC) will be considered an advantage.

We do not expect one candidate to master all areas. What matters most is that you bring strong expertise in selected areas and can help us strengthen and close competence gaps across our power electronics development activities.

What You'll Get from Us

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge power electronics technologies and help shape the future of energy‑efficient drive solutions used around the world. You'll join a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and innovation are part of everyday work.

You'll help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.

We'll support your career growth with mentoring, learning opportunities, and access to global career paths.

You'll have the flexibility, autonomy, and support you need to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

You'll be part of an inclusive workplace where people of all backgrounds are respected, valued, and empowered to succeed.

You'll receive a competitive rewards package that includes benefits such as an annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, health insurance, and more. As a global company, these benefits vary by country and contract.
