Job summary

Terma Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to improve the developer experience across a large engineering organization. You will shape tools, platforms, and ways of working, while implementing scalable automation and secure CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.

You will join the Platform Enablement team within DSO, collaborating with senior engineers, and helping drive modernization of development environments. Fluency in English is required for this international role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Software Engineering/CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Git and development workflows experience.
• Experience building/packaging software into distributable artifacts (Java, C#, C++, NPM, RPM).
• CI/CD pipelines experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and workflow automation.
• Proficiency with Linux environments, especially Fedora/RHEL.
• Experience with authentication (SSO) using LDAP/Kerberos.

Responsibilities

• Improve developer experience by reducing friction in onboarding and local development.
• Design and implement reusable templates, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines with automation and security.
• Translate recurring challenges into scalable solutions from discovery to rollout.
• Establish standards and guardrails for security, compliance, and operations.
• Mentor colleagues and help strengthen technical capabilities across the engineering org.
