Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is hiring a DevOps & Platform Engineer to design, build and operate our platform services that power product development, testing, and deployment. You will develop automation to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency, and work on IaC, deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling.

You will collaborate with software, architecture, product, and infrastructure teams to improve developer productivity and advance platform capabilities, including modernization

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong automation with Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
• Automation frameworks, deployment pipelines, APIs, integrations, or platform services.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, ESXi, Proxmox VE, or similar.
• Linux and/or Windows admin, scripting, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Monitoring, observability, logging, incident management, and reliability practices.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for automation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform services for development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop automation to improve reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain IaC, automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling.
• Develop integrations and automation using APIs, scripting, and DevOps practices.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, and dashboards.
• Support virtualization and platform technologies; contribute to modernization and cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and infra specialists to boost productivity.
• Contribute to platform standardization and self-service capabilities.
