Job summary

Twoday is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to evolve a large-scale DevOps platform into an AI-native engineering environment. You will collaborate with developers, platform engineers and architects to design infrastructure and guardrails enabling AI agents and AI-assisted workflows in enterprise and public-sector contexts.

The role is heavily Kubernetes- and platform-oriented, focusing on secure software delivery, governance, observability and agentic automation, with onsite work in Copenhagen

Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar).
• Hands-on with Docker and container-based platforms.
• Cloud-native operations and platform engineering experience.
• Strong Linux and scripting skills.
• Knowledge of secure software delivery and deployment governance.
• Observability, monitoring and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.

We are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help transform a large‑scale development and deployment platform from traditional DevOps into a modern AI‑assisted and agentic engineering setup.

About The Role

This role is not about building AI models from scratch.

It is about building the platform, infrastructure and delivery workflows around AI‑assisted software development.

You will work closely with development teams, platform engineers and architects to create the infrastructure and guardrails that enable AI agents and AI‑assisted workflows to safely operate within enterprise and public‑sector environments.

The environment is heavily Kubernetes‑ and platform‑oriented and focuses on:

• secure software delivery
• AI‑assisted development workflows
• GitOps and CI/CD
• Kubernetes‑based deployment environments
• governance and observability
• agentic workflows and controlled automation

You will help evolve the current development platform into an AI‑native engineering environment where agents can assist — and eventually automate parts of — development, evaluation and operational workflows.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes‑based development and deployment platforms
• Work with CI/CD, GitOps and secure software delivery pipelines

We are looking for someone who has experience with

• Kubernetes in production environments
• CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar)
• Docker and container‑based platforms
• Cloud‑native operations and platform engineering
• Linux and scripting
• Secure software delivery and deployment governance
• Observability, monitoring and troubleshooting in distributed systems
• Azure and/or AWS

And also:

• Fluent Danish and English, written and spoken
• Ability to work onsite in Copenhagen as required
• Strong hands‑on engineering capabilities
• Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments

It is an advantage if you also have experience with

• AI‑assisted development tooling
• Agentic workflows and autonomous pipeline automation
• Platform engineering for AI‑enabled systems
• Open‑source AI tooling and integrations
• OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or Grafana
• Keycloak, Vault or secrets management
• Policy‑as‑code and runtime governance
• European cloud providers or hybrid/private cloud environments
