Are you an analytical and technically strong performance manager who can translate complex R&D data into decision-ready insights? Do you have experience designing performance frameworks, KPI architectures, and portfolio intelligence capabilities that help senior leaders prioritize investments, strengthen business performance, and maximize innovation value?

Join our PMO, Innovation Portfolio Management within R&D Chronic Care organisation

Coloplast has a long history of developing innovative products that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. At our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join the PMO department within the R&D Innovation Portfolio Management organization, where we drive portfolio management and execution across the innovation portfolio, enable strategy deployment, and advance performance management across the R&D organization.

As Senior Performance Intelligence Manager, you will play a key role in establishing a trusted performance management system across R&D. You will create a single source of truth for portfolio, functional, and organizational performance, enabling leaders across the organization to make better business decisions, strengthen business performance, and maximize the value delivered through innovation investments. Through KPI frameworks, dashboards, analytics, and performance insights, you will help leaders to drive continuous performance improvement across both the Innovation Value Stream portfolio and the wider R&D organization, ensuring leaders have the insights needed to improve outcomes, productivity, and value delivery

Turn performance insights into better R&D decisions

In this role, you move beyond traditional reporting. You will help build the performance foundation that gives R&D leadership one trusted view of performance and portfolio progress, risk and value — so they can act with confidence.

Your key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain performance management framework and KPI matrix used to track value creation across the IVS portfolio and R&D organisation.
  • Design and build the Power BI data model, dashboards and reporting logic, from architecture through to visual design
  • Establish one trusted source of truth for portfolio, business and value performance, supporting better decisions and performance improvement across R&D and the Innovation Value Stream
  • Create one integrated portfolio view of milestones, cost, risk and value across programs and projects
  • Turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations that support value-optimising decisions for senior leadership
  • Work closely with Finance, R&D and IVS stakeholders to provide insights and analytical support that help leaders improve business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and make better business decisions
  • Develop and run value realization tracking, ensuring initiatives deliver against the impact they promised
  • Support portfolio scenario design and decision preparation with fact-based analysis
  • Apply hands‑on BI, AI, data and analytics capabilities to improve reporting quality, automation and insight generation
Turn complexity into clear insights and recommendations

First and foremost, you are an analytical, technically strong performance manager who builds dashboards people actually trust. When you present a number, stakeholders don't question whether it's right — they ask what it means for the decision ahead.

You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy creating structure where complexity exists. You turn fragmented information into insights that leaders can act on, and you're motivated by building performance management practices that create real business value.

You combine business understanding with solid hands‑on BI, data and analytics experience. You are comfortable working with data models, dashboards, reporting logic and performance metrics — and you can translate technical complexity into clear insights for senior stakeholders.

What you bring:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in performance management, strategic PMO, portfolio management, business performance, or analytics-driven decision support
  • Master’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Life Science, Technology or equivalent
  • Strong experience designing performance management frameworks, KPI architectures, dashboards, and decision‑support capabilities in a project, program, or portfolio environment.
  • Solid hands‑on technical experience building and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modelling, reporting logic and visual design - this is a core, hands‑on part of the role
  • Experience supporting portfolio scenario design, trade‑off discussions and fact‑based decision‑making
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach
  • Experience from R&D, medical devices, pharma, life science or another regulated industry — this is an advantage
  • Communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English

Pursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. Employing about 16.000 people and with products available in more than 143 countries, we are one of the world´s leading medical device companies.
