Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to drive The Maersk Way (TMW) across the Nordics. The role blends deep logistics expertise with Lean and continuous improvement methods to diagnose problems, design pragmatic solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The candidate partners with Product, Operations, Finance CX and ALT, leading cross-functional initiatives while ensuring scalable, standardized improvements embedded in frontline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, operations, logistics or related field.
• 7–10+ years in logistics/services with operational excellence experience.
• Experience in Lean, continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
• Proven ability to deliver tangible improvements in complex environments.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement localization strategy for TMW across Nordics.
• Lead performance governance routines and standardization of processes.
• Coach teams on problem solving and training programs (A3, Kaizen, etc.).
• Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives and KPI frameworks.
• Translate constraints into data-driven improvement programs and manage priorities.
