Systematic Aarhus is looking for a Senior Software Developer to help build mobile software that provides field commanders with real-time situational awareness. The role sits in the Defence Product Development division, focusing on resilient, field-tested software run on vehicles and handheld devices.

You will work across a full-stack Angular frontend and Java backend, contribute to architecture and maintainability, and mentor teammates through code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering or related field.
• Solid hands-on experience in a professional software development team.
• Ability to navigate and take ownership of complex tasks in an existing codebase.
• Understanding how to design and structure software beyond just making it work.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile software for field commanders; ensure real-time situational awareness.
• Work across full-stack with Angular frontend and Java backend; troubleshoot and shape new features.
• Help shape architectural and maintainability improvements; participate in code reviews and mentoring.
