Mimica is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist for its Data Intelligence team. You will transform raw data into clean, structured, anonymized data powering other teams, and own ML pipelines end to end to improve accuracy, cost, and trust.

You’ll build LLM evaluators, run experiments, and implement production improvements with open-source models and task-specific systems. The role emphasizes Python development, collaboration with quality engineers, and delivering results that scale

Qualifications

• Solid machine learning/data science background with understanding of experimental design, data splits, metrics, bias, and statistical significance.

Responsibilities

• Own, debug, and improve production ML pipelines for accuracy and efficiency.
• Design, build, and iterate on LLM evals and LLM-as-a-judge systems, including datasets, metrics, and benchmarks.
• Run rigorous experiments on prompts, pipeline design, model choice, and inputs, turning results into clear recommendations.
• Drive LLM efficiency improvements across pipelines by comparing models and using smaller, purpose-built alternatives.
• Expand anonymization pipeline by evaluating and adapting existing models.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to take experiments into production and ship reliable code.
• Document findings in experiment reports and design docs.
