Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Principal Mechanical Package Manager to own the mechanical systems package from planning through handover at a major project near Copenhagen. You will coordinate Sensori's mechanical team, subcontractors, suppliers and client stakeholders to deliver on schedule, cost, quality and safety.

You will lead day‑to‑day site operations for mechanical works, drive QA records and weekly progress reporting, and ensure a clean close‑out with complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• 5–10 years' experience managing mechanical installation packages and delivering large installations on time and to budget.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, plant, and mechanical installation practice; knowledge of electrical interfaces.
• Experience in design‑and‑build delivery, multi-contractor environments and industrial relations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Excellent IT literacy and proficiency with scheduling/reporting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to drive large‑scale projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mechanical package from planning through handover, including scope, programme, cost, quality and close-out.
• Co‑manage site safety with the Mechanical Project Manager and Safety Advisor; maintain safety files and drive QA culture.
• Coordinate QA with QA Manager; establish and close out QA files, test packs, and inspection evidence.
• Maintain and drive package programme with Project Manager and client milestones; coordinate with electrical, civil and commissioning activities.
• Control costs including labour, subcontractors, materials, plant and equipment; issue weekly cost reports.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site activity, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to policies.
• Manage subcontractor performance and hold weekly coordination meetings.
• Operate the in‑progress snagging system; distribute snags and ensure follow up.
• Coordinate procurement of long‑lead mechanical plant and equipment; track deliveries to align with the programme.
• Produce internal weekly progress reports and external reports to the Project Manager on delays and risks.
• Attend site meetings, project reviews, and handover meetings; maintain a weekly photographic diary.
• Close out all package items (final account, O&M manuals, punch lists, QA files) and relocate materials.
