Job summary

Danfoss Nordborg site seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the design and development of nozzle, pump, and spray solutions used in cooling, heating, humidification and related applications. You will lead mechanical product design with full lifecycle ownership, driving innovation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Strong experience designing mechanical components and systems from concept through validation and implementation.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as Inventor or similar design software.
• Experience with product compliance requirements and relevant standards such as UL, TÜV, CE.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative approach to working across functions and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of mechanical products and drive development from concept through implementation.
• Maintain full product responsibility throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work across the value chain to broaden technical and commercial understanding.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, suppliers and customers.
• Deliver successful product outcomes through design changes and validation.
