Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Marine Fuels Specialist to act as a technical expert across Maersk's global fuel operations. You will lead investigations into fuel quality and performance issues, support testing of new fuel solutions, and provide guidance on fuel-related risks, standards, and operational challenges.

You will collaborate with vessel crews, suppliers, laboratories, OEMs, and senior management to ensure safe, reliable and compliant fuel performance and to guide the company’s fuel

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in marine fuels markets or related energy industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of fuel quality and performance issues.
• Support testing and implementation of conventional and emerging marine fuels.
• Provide expert guidance on fuel-related risks, standards, and operational challenges.
• Represent Maersk in industry forums, OEM working groups, and standardisation bodies.
• Share technical knowledge and support capability development across the organisation.
