Job summary

Maersk Tankers in Copenhagen, Denmark, is seeking a Marine Superintendent to ensure safe, compliant operation of assigned vessels with focus on navigation, cargo handling and operational readiness.

You will collaborate with vessel leadership, conduct audits, drive safety improvements, and travel internationally for vessel visits and audits. Master Mariner unlimited is required; tanker experience essential; OCIMF, vetting processes familiarity; strong leadership and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Master Mariner (unlimited) Certificate of Competency.
• Experience on tanker vessels is essential.
• Experience in shore-based marine operations or vetting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, navigation, safety, and cargo operations.
• Familiarity with OCIMF, CDI, SIGTTO, TMSA and vetting processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and crisis management skills.
• Ability to travel internationally for vessel visits and audits.
