Terma seeks (Senior) Machine Learning Engineers to join the Accelerator team in Denmark. You will collaborate with data scientists to turn promising models into production-ready systems and own ML infra for major projects.

Expect hands-on work, end-to-end ML pipelines, and strong security considerations in a dynamic, international setting. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor model performance and drift, and work with the infra team to ensure robust deployment and scalability

We are looking for (Senior) Machine Learning Engineers to join the Accelerator team. The Accelerator brings together AI specialists, software developers, drone and robotics experts, and business developers to turn emerging technologies into solutions for real operational needs. We work closely with Danish Defense and allied forces, involving end users from the very beginning and taking ideas quickly from concept to testing in the field.

Your role in our team

As our new (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer in the Accelerator team, you will work alongside our data scientists during model development, helping turn promising models into production-ready systems. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing, scaling and integrating models so they operate reliably in demanding, real-world conditions.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our ML activities, including model registries and monitoring and alerting for model performance and drift. You will not own the underlying on-prem infrastructure alone; you will work together with our infrastructure team on the compute, networking and platform foundations, to ensure smooth integration with the rest of the team's tool stack. Furthermore, you will take ownership of ML infrastructure and operations for specific, impactful projects.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

You will work in a dynamic, scalable environment, balancing speed and innovation with the highest security standards. Handling classified information and systems that matter, you will have a strong voice in maintaining military-grade security while driving development forward. Your key responsibilities include:

• Turn AI models developed by our data scientists into production-ready systems
• Take ownership of ML infrastructure and operations across key projects
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for training, testing and deployment of ML models
• Maintain model registries and monitor model performance, drift and alerting in production
• Collaborate closely with our infrastructure team on compute, networking and platform foundations
• Investigate and validate new tools and technologies, and introduce them to the team

Bring your world class expertise into play

For this role we expect you to hold a relevant degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. That said, we are more impressed by your crazy, interesting and impressive hobby projects than perfect grades. Whether you are a recent graduate or bring a few years of experience, your skillset might include:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python (and/or Java), with production code experience
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for ML, including model training, testing and deployment automation
• Experience with model serving and deployment, using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and live brokers
• Experience with model monitoring, including performance tracking and data or concept drift detection
• Familiarity with model versioning, registries and reproducible training pipelines
• Comfort with on-prem infrastructure and systems administration at scale
• Experience optimizing models for production, including latency, memory and throughput
• Enough ML/DL literacy to collaborate effectively with data scientists
