Job summary

WS Audiology Group seeks an experienced commercial lawyer to provide broad legal support to the EMEA region. You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, give business-focused legal advice, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives across the region.

The role requires strong Danish and English language skills, with 6+ years in a multinational setting, preferably in the medical device field. The position is based in Denmark.

Qualifications

  • At least 6+ years' experience from a leading law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
  • Preferable experience from the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken).

WSA's Legal department is a pragmatic, solution-focused partner that proactively addresses challenges and supports growth. Reporting to the Head of Group Legal Region EMEA, this role provides broad commercial legal support to the EMEA region and corporate commercial areas within the WSA Group. You will serve as a strategic legal partner to business leaders, delivering business-oriented legal advice on daily operational matters and risks to facilitate growth and expansion. Additionally, you will work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions and legal decisions are driven by and aligned with business objectives.

What you will do
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers/vendors and other third parties.

  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice to business partners on general corporate law, commercial and contract law, and any other legal issues and risks arising out of day-to-day operations.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate R&D collaboration, development and project agreements.

  • Ensure a good overview and maintenance of all corporate secretarial matters and records for all WSA entities in the EMEA region.

  • Select and manage external counsels and other service providers and manage litigation within the EMEA region.

  • Prepare and conduct trainings for employees on legal topics as may be assigned.

  • Draft and manage WSA templates.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on strategic projects and global initiatives relevant for the EMEA region.

What you bring

Experience

  • At least 6+ years' experience from a leading law firm and/or as in-house counsel in a multinational company, preferably with applicable experience from the medical device industry.

  • Strong expertise in contract law, commercial agreements, and general legal matters.
