Danish Crown A/S is seeking a Senior Lead, Finance Business Partner to act as the trusted financial advisor to a global business unit. You will blend strategic finance, performance management, and business partnering to guide leaders, translate priorities into profitable growth, and create long-term value.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, regional finance teams, and stakeholders to deliver forward-looking insights and measurable outcomes, while shaping resource allocation and driving

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Strategy, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Strategy, or similar.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders in international and complex organisations.
• Solid expertise in financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and performance management.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and profitability management.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools; data-driven decision making.
• Ability to influence and build trusted cross-functional relationships.
• English fluency; Danish work permit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted Finance Business Partner to leadership, providing strategic guidance and financial insight.
• Own and drive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across the business unit.
• Translate strategic priorities into financial plans and resource allocation decisions.
• Challenge assumptions with data-driven analysis and business partnering.
• Develop, evaluate, and monitor business cases, investments, and initiatives with benefits tracking.
• Analyze pricing, profitability, productivity, working capital, and margin development to improve performance.
• Establish and improve KPI frameworks and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Deliver scenario analyses and forward-looking recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions to protect performance.
• Support evolution of Finance Partnering through simplification and better forecast quality.

We are looking for a Senior Lead, Finance Business Partner to become the trusted financial advisor to one of our global business units. In this role, you will combine strategic finance, performance management, and business partnering to help leaders make better decisions, translate business priorities into profitable growth, and create long-term value.

You will join our Global Business Finance organisation and work closely with senior business leaders, regional finance teams, and functional stakeholders. As a strategic business partner, you will provide forward-looking financial leadership, transforming strategy and operational priorities into actionable insights, clear choices, and measurable outcomes.

As we continue to strengthen our market position and pursue growth opportunities, you will play a key role in ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-value initiatives while driving transparency, accountability, and financial discipline across the organisation. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute directly to strategic investments, cost optimisation, and improved performance across the business.

You will be successful in the role when you;

• Serve as the trusted Finance Business Partner to the business units Leadership team, providing strategic guidance and financial insight to support critical business decisions.
• Own and drive the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes across the business unit.
• Translate strategic priorities into financial plans, resource allocation decisions, and value creation initiatives.
• Challenge commercial and operational assumptions and ensure robust decision-making through data-driven analysis and business partnering.
• Develop, evaluate, and challenge business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives while ensuring benefits realisation is tracked and measured.
• Analyse pricing, profitability, productivity, working capital, and margin development, identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
• Establish and continuously improve KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and accountability structures that support effective execution.
• Deliver high-quality, decision-oriented reporting and performance reviews for leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Provide scenario analyses and forward‑looking recommendations to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Identify risks, raise performance concerns, and proactively recommend corrective actions to protect business performance.
• Support the continued evolution of Finance Business Partnering by driving simplification, improving forecast quality, and strengthening decision support capabilities.

You likely bring:

• A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Strategy, or a related discipline.
• More than five years of relevant experience within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Strategy, or similar fields.
• Strong experience supporting senior stakeholders in an international and complex organisation.
• Solid expertise in financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and performance management.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling, business casing, scenario analysis, and profitability management.
• Experience working with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• The ability to influence and challenge constructively while building trusted relationships across functions and leadership levels.
• A proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach combined with strong commercial curiosity.
• Fluency in English and a valid Danish work permit. Danish language skills are not required.
