Job summary

Veritaz AB is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable Java backend services. You will build APIs and microservices, develop integrations across systems, and work hands-on with Google Cloud Platform.

You will also contribute to frontend using React and TypeScript, work with Next.js including SSR/SSG, and implement automated tests with Jest. Collaboration with teams and ownership of technical tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience designing and developing integrations and APIs.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and service-to-service communication.
• Experience with routing services or complex integration environments.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience building production-grade applications.
• Good understanding of performance, security, observability and accessibility.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate scalable Java backend services.
• Build and maintain APIs and microservice-based solutions.
• Develop integration and routing services connecting multiple systems.
• Work hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design service-to-service communication and distributed solutions.
• Support AI-driven and human-assisted customer service experiences.
