Job summary

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Insights Analyst to turn data from our Databricks Lakehouse into trusted insights that shape decisions across the organization. You will own the semantic layer, build self-service datasets, and create reporting that puts meaningful insights in the hands of users.

You will report to the Enterprise Architect and be a key member of the Architecture & Engineering department at HQ in Copenhagen, with flexible working options including home-office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data, analytics or BI roles with progressive responsibility.
• Hands-on dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with Power BI and Databricks semantic layer design.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver insights and reporting across technology and business initiatives.
• Define and govern KPI definitions for consistency and a single source of truth.
• Implement reporting governance and dataset/workspace management.
• Enable self-service analytics with training and documentation.
• Translate business questions into analytical deliverables and deliver demos.
• Provide guidance on analytic, data modeling and visualization best practices.
