Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking a Senior HV Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Denmark, focusing on electrical control systems for data centres, pharma, and renewable energy projects. The role covers design through to handover, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and site leadership across diverse international projects.

Ideal candidates have a third level degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of HV project engineering experience, with strong communication,

Qualifications

• Requires a third level degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years’ experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in HV Energy and Renewables.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels and work within a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Perform HV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS substations.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for site activities.
• Liaise with clients, design teams and contractors on technical issues and ensure on-site electrical engineering issues are managed from planning to handover.
• Coordinate program, monitor progress, and prepare project documentation and reports.
