Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer in Odense to help build Dashboard 4.0 with Next.js/Nuxt and GenAI-ready UI. You will own front-end features, mentor peers, and collaborate with product and design to deliver a clean, scalable UI.

You will drive automated testing with Vitest/Playwright, contribute to architectural decisions, and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Qlik Sense is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of practical experience in front-end software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Next.js, Nuxt, or similar.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL or similar.
• Strong knowledge of automated front-end tests (Vitest, Playwright).
• Ability to analyze problems and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Nice-to-have: BI tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense.
• Nice-to-have: Scrum-inspired agile environment using Jira and Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of front-end features with minimal oversight.
• Participate in analysis and design to improve codebase health and set technical standards.
• Engage in pair programming, code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
