(Senior) FP&A Analyst - ECCO HQ, Bredebro

Are you seeking a role in which you can bring clarity, insight, and forward-looking financial direction to one of the world's leading footwear brands?

Create insight that strengthens our financial decision making
At ECCO, our numbers reflect the full story of our customers, products, stores, digital growth, and global footprint. ECCO owns the entire value chain from leather and production through to sales across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels worldwide. As a (Senior) FP&A Analyst, you will play a central role in turning this data into insights that guide decisions across the organisation.

You will join Group FP&A and work alongside colleagues across Performance Management and Forecasting & Budgeting. Your analysis directly informs decisions at the Managing Board and Board of Directors level reflecting both the high standard expected and the genuine visibility of the role.
You will independently lead core financial planning and analysis processes while collaborating closely with colleagues across markets, functions, and business areas. You will also contribute to refining and improving planning tools, working with SAP, Power BI and structured forecast models to strengthen transparency, data quality and efficiency.

You will:

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports across the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow, highlighting performance trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead monthly forecasting cycles and deliver forward-looking projections up to twenty-four months ahead, supporting quarterly and annual planning.
  • Take full ownership of the forecasting assumptions in your area of responsibility, providing Group management with clear, driver-based narratives that explain change - not merely reports of variance.
  • Proactively monitor Group initiatives within an established performance management framework, providing insights that support successful delivery.
  • Translate business activity, including sales trends, inventory movements, delivery performance, and collection planning, into quantified financial impact.
  • Lead scenario modelling and what-if analysis to enable leadership to rigorously test assumptions prior to decision-making.

You are joining at a point of change
We are strengthening how ECCO plans and steers performance - sharpening our forecasting model, tightening the connection between the financial forecast and the commercial and operational plans, reinforcing performance follow-up, and continuously raising the standard of analysis and insight.

You are curious, analytical and eager to contribute to collaborative planning
You bring relevant experience from a comparable role and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment. With a structured and proactive mindset and attention to detail, your contribution extends beyond explaining variance - you ensure it translates into action.

We imagine you bring:

  • Three to five or more years of experience within financial planning and analysis, business controlling, financial analysis or management consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex datasets, financial models and planning tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI or Anaplan is an advantage - these are the platforms you will be working in.
  • The ability to turn a complex analysis into a short, clear message that a non-financial executive can act on.
  • Fluency in English.

What you can expect from us
You will be part of a team that upholds transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement, within a working environment grounded in trust, autonomy, and a sound balance between professional and personal life.

This position is based on-site at ECCO's headquarters in Bredebro, Southern Denmark, and no relocation assistance is provided. We believe the best work happens when people are in the same room, and that is how our team works, and it is a large part of what makes it worth joining.

Within that, we are pragmatic about everyday life. A doctor's appointment, a family commitment, and the occasional day when working from home simply makes more sense.

For additional information about the role, you can reach out to Andrew Thomsen, Manager, Performance Management for Group FP&A, on +45 21 66 54 15.

Join us and you become part of a meaningful, developing and multicultural workplace with colleagues who are proud to create the footprints of tomorrow. Our offices and facilities around the world have an informal culture and relaxed dress code – our shoe code is slightly stricter.

Are you curious, passionate and ready to make an impact? Then you'll fit right in.
