Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Senior Research Scientist for CMC Drug Product Development in Måløv. You will lead formulation activities across early and late development, working with injectables such as proteins and minibinders, and guide the team through critical development decisions.

You will own end-to-end studies, ensure product stability, and provide scientific direction while collaborating with Global Research, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or another relevant natural science field.
• Solid industry experience within research and development and drug product development. This is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong hands-on experience with injectable protein, peptide, antibody or minibinder formulation and stability studies.
• Experience with phase-appropriate quality expectations, scientific documentation and drug product development across clinical phases.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead formulation activities and provide scientific direction from early development through later clinical stages.
• Drive formulation and process development activities ensuring robust pharmaceutical characteristics and product stability.
• Own end-to-end scientific studies and translate data into clear recommendations.
• Build cross-functional relationships and represent formulation perspectives with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk value chain.
• Ensure high-quality documentation for internal and external purposes, including clinical trial applications and patent submissions.
