Job summary

Arup in Copenhagen seeks a Senior Façade Engineer to lead complex façade projects, driving design from concept to contract. You will manage projects, coordinate with architects and engineers, and push high-performance envelope solutions that balance aesthetics with technical rigor.

The role demands client leadership, bid involvement, and a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and team development within a global façade engineering group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Experience leading your discipline on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of sector-specific legislation, code requirements and design guidance.
• Ability to work with clients and to represent Arup at a senior level.
• Proven track record of working on multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own projects and junior engineers to deliver quality façade solutions on time and on budget.
• Take a lead design role in facade and building envelope projects, standalone or multi-disciplinary.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure aesthetic and technically compliant designs.
• Translate client requirements into a clear project delivery approach and communicate effectively.
• Support bids and business development, building a network of clients and colleagues.
• Oversee design and engineering strategies across projects and influence team capability.
