Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Executive Protection Advisor to lead and develop the global protective services for its executive leadership and families. Based in Copenhagen, you will balance operational execution with strategic programme development and liaise with senior stakeholders to deliver discreet, proportionate protection.

The role combines operational delivery (approx. 60%) with strategic ownership (40%), including developing the Executive Protection and Event Security programmes and co-owning

Qualifications

• Danish citizenship with eligibility for national security clearance.
• Background in corporate protective services or security risk management.
• Experience working with authorities on security matters.
• Experience in at least two of: executive protection; family and residential security; event security; executive travel coordination.
• Strong judgement and discretion in sensitive situations.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own the Executive Protection Programme (EPP) and the Event Security Programme (ESP).
• Co-own the executive travel scope of Travel Risk Management and family coverage in Expat and Family Security.
• Prepare decision-ready executive briefings for leadership review.
• Advise on executive travel, events, residences and family security matters.
• Coordinate with Regional Heads of Security, vendors and authorities to ensure support is in place.
• Lead incident, threat and harassment case management and maintain documentation.
