Job summary

Lykketronic A/S in Løgstør is looking for a Senior Embedded Hardware Designer to join our development team. You will develop electronic control solutions for machines—primarily agricultural and forestry sectors—with embedded controls and touch-based consoles, working independently and with colleagues.

You will contribute to a broad range of hardware development activities, ensure robust documentation, and collaborate with procurement on supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduated engineer or electronics technician with relevant experience.
• Experience with embedded hardware development from concept to production.
• Strong documentation practices and systematic approach.
• Fluent in Danish and English; able to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Development of automotive analog/digital hardware, power supplies and PCB layout.
• End-of-Life management of existing solutions.
• Technical sparring with purchasing, including ongoing supplier contact.
• Active participation in demanding customer projects where needs and technical solutions develop along the way.
• Qualified design choices balancing technology, platform thinking, quality, final price and time-to-market.
• Documentation of the developed solutions.
• Software development is welcome as part of your toolbox.

Senior Embedded Hardware Designer - design next generation of machine controls for Lykketronic A/S

At Lykketonic in Løgstør, we are looking for an experienced hardware designer who can contribute technical expertise to our development team of five colleagues.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining electronic control solutions for machines - primarily within the agricultural and forestry sectors. The work ranges from embedded machine controls to touch-based, graphical control consoles, and you will work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Areas of responsibility

• Development of automotive analog/digital hardware, power supplies and PCB layout
• End-of-Life management of existing solutions
• Technical sparring with purchasing, including ongoing supplier contact
• Active participation in demanding customer projects where needs and technical solutions develop along the way
• Qualified design choices with a balance between new technology, platform thinking, quality, final price and time-to-market
• Documentation of the developed solutions
• Software development is welcome as part of your toolbox.

Your profile

• Solid experience from complex development projects where customer needs, technology and project frameworks must be continuously aligned
• Accustomed to making well-founded design choices where technology, platform thinking, quality, final price and time-to-market interact
• Focus on cost-conscious quality solutions that solve the actual need - not just meet a specification
• Experience with KiCAD electronics design suite or equivalent
• Independent in the design of embedded systems and a strong team player
• Systematic approach and routine in technical documentation
• Practical knowledge of sensors, actuators, and mechanical and hydraulic systems is an advantage
• Graduated engineer, electronics technician or similar
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
