Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking an Experienced Data Platform Engineer to shape the technical direction of our Data Foundation. You will contribute to evolving a cloud-based data platform supporting analytics, reporting and AI, while mentoring colleagues and ensuring enterprise-grade reliability.

You will work with Azure Databricks, Terraform, Python/PySpark and SQL, collaborating with Architects and product teams to meet non-functional requirements and drive best practices across CI/CD, observability and

Qualifications

Enterprise-scale data platform development experience.
Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure services, Terraform, Python/PySpark and SQL.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, GitHub and IaC.
Understanding of architectural patterns and integration design.
Experience with CI/CD, test automation and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of observability, performance optimization and resilience.
Strong communication and ability to mentor colleagues.
Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the technical implementation of complex features while reducing debt.
Support developers through code reviews and coaching.
Collaborate with Architects and product teams on direction and non-functional requirements.
Design and implement robust services, APIs and data pipelines.
Drive code quality, testing, automation and observability practices.
Evolve CI/CD pipelines and strengthen platform reliability and performance.
