Job summary
3Shape is seeking a Senior or Principal Data Platform Engineer in Copenhagen to lead the evolution of our Databricks-based data platform. You will drive architecture, governance, and scalable data capabilities, collaborating with engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data products and AI initiatives.
You will help mature platform ownership, improve governance practices, and enable teams across the company to build trusted, secure data and AI solutions, contributing hands-on
Qualifications
- Experience designing, building, and operating modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong cloud data platform experience in large organizations or consulting.
- Ability to translate complex tech concepts into business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of the Databricks platform into an AI-ready foundation.
- Define enterprise-wide standards for data platform architecture, governance, and security.
- Guide domain data teams with technical leadership and best practices.
- Contribute hands-on to design, build, and deliver scalable data platform capabilities.
- Drive planning across end-to-end data lifecycle and cost optimization.
- Promote data literacy and adoption of data and AI solutions.
