Job summary

Context& is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, taking ownership of technical tracks, and shaping architectures and advisory concepts. You will engage in sales-driven activities and help mature client platforms through workshops, roadmaps, and upskilling, while collaborating with AI-enabled processes.

You will join our AI Business Solutions team, with flexibility to base in Aarhus or Virum, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience with data platforms on Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience facilitating workshops, advising customers, and driving dialogues to mature platforms.
• Experience delivering consulting services with stakeholder management and competence development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in close cooperation with colleagues and customers.
• Experience in an agile environment with AI-integration.

Responsibilities

• Define how we work with Fabric and AI and influence reference architectures.
• Lead customer dialogues to identify opportunities and translate needs into solutions.

The Role as Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a driving force in working with modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of technical tracks, define how we work with Fabric and AI, and influence the development of our reference architectures and advisory concepts.

In addition to being technically strong, you also have a passion for sales and business development. You enjoy customer dialogue, spotting opportunities, and helping turn needs into concrete solutions – from early discussions to successful delivery. After implementation, you will actively contribute to maturing the customer’s platform and organization through workshops, roadmaps, upskilling, and advisory. When you succeed in the role, you will also have the chance to influence direction, quality, and ways of working – both internally and with customers.

What we expect from you

• Several years of experience with data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, plus solid experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and make architectural decisions that balance quality, scalability, and governance.

• Experience facilitating workshops, advising customers, and driving dialogues that help mature both platform and organization.

• Experience delivering consulting services, handling stakeholder management, and enabling customer teams through competence development.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills – you can convey complex topics simply and thrive in close cooperation with colleagues and customers.

• Experience working in an agile environment where responsible experimentation and fast learning are essential – especially as we bring AI into processes and solutions.

• Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.

It’s an advantage if you also have

• A solid understanding of data governance and security, ensuring solutions can run in production and deliver real business value.

• General experience with best practices within data engineering and technical expertise in complex data pipelines.

• Experience with Power BI and DAX, as well as Python and notebooks.

• Microsoft certifications such as DP-600 or DP-700.

You’ll be part of our AI Business Solutions team. We help our customers embed AI, data, and automation directly into their business processes, making them more robust, intelligent, and future‑proof. We combine Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Data & Analytics, and Microsoft 365 with agentic AI, advanced analytics, and strong security and continuity practices.

You can be based at our office in Aarhus or Virum. However, as many of our clients are located in the Copenhagen area, you should expect a few travel days each month if you are based in Jutland.
