Job summary

GlobalConnect Group is seeking a senior Data Center Designer based in Taastrup, Denmark. In this hands-on role, you will act as a technical authority across large data center projects, overseeing power and cooling systems, technical documentation, and operational handover. You will collaborate with Project Managers, sales teams, and external consultants, ensuring designs support reliability and scalability. Qualifications

• Senior mechanical technical specialist with experience in complex systems.
• Confident in technical judgment and comfortable challenging designs and assumptions.
• Ability to explain complex technical choices clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority within large data center projects.
• Own system-level design decisions across various systems.
• Develop and review technical requirements and design documentation.
• Support site inspections and operational handover.

Skills

Hands on experience with data center infrastructure or mission-critical environments

Strong understanding of cooling systems and power infrastructure

Proven hands-on experience with alarm and monitoring systems

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

Fluent English and knowledge of Danish or another Nordic language
