Job summary

Fuller Technologies is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer in Denmark to lead control-system design for our Burner Management System (BMS). You will guide the project lifecycle from proposal to delivery, providing technical expertise and liaising with clients and teams.

Some travel may be required. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics, hands-on automation experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics or related field.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing industrial automation systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming with Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider.
  • Experience in HMI/SCADA development (WinCC, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
  • Familiarity with electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
  • Understanding of safety standards in industrial automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test automation solutions including PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and maintenance to define automation requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation issues to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize automation processes for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  • Stay updated with industrial automation trends and best practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as manuals and design specs.
  • Participate in commissioning and start-up activities for new equipment.

About the role

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer based in Denmark, you will serve as the technical lead for the control systems of our Burner Management System (BMS). You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the proposal stage through execution, providing your technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery. The role may occasionally require planned travel to support projects, leveraging your advanced technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and strong relationship‑building skills.
